Terms of Service
- General -
꩜ I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.꩜ I retain full rights to the artwork I create. Commissioned pieces may be posted on my social media or in portfolios unless you request otherwise. If you would like to post the commission yourself, please credit me as the artist with my username @kjthenbee.꩜ My default size for commissions is 8.5in x 11in at 350dpi. Please let me know in your request inquiry if you would like a different canvas size/orientation.꩜ My commissions are for PERSONAL USE ONLY, not commercial use.꩜ DO NOT USE MY ARTWORK FOR ANYTHING RELATED TO AI OR NFTS.
- Process -
꩜ Commissions can be requested either via Tumblr DMs to @kjthenbee, email at [email protected], or via Ko-Fi at ko-fi.com/kjthenbee.꩜ Visual references are great, but detailed descriptions and even simple rough doodles are also heavily encouraged - it helps make the process easier for me!꩜ Upon accepting your request, I will provide you with a timeframe estimate, which will vary based on complexity. The pacing of my work varies between 1 week to 1 month or more depending on the complexity of the commission, the amount of other commissions I’m working on, and personal life/other responsibilities.꩜ I will send you periodic updates on your commission either via email or Discord (whichever you prefer). You may ask me for updates at any time.꩜ If I think your commission may end up taking me longer than my initial estimate, I will let you know.꩜ After payment has been received, I will begin sending you rough sketches based on the references/description you have given me. This stage is where you have the freedom to request any major changes.꩜ Once the sketch has been approved and the line art process has begun, only minor change requests will be accepted. Any major change requests after the line art process has begun (i.e. adding characters, changing poses, changing outfits, adding to/changing background, etc.) will require an additional fee.꩜ If for whatever reason I am unable to complete your commission, I will issue a refund of 60-90% depending on how much progress I was able to make.꩜ If I accept a commission but need to cancel it before work has begun, you will recieve a full refund.
- Payment -
꩜ Payments will be conducted via PayPal or through Ko-Fi.꩜ Please note that pricing may increase according to complexity of the request.꩜ Once I accept your commission request, you MUST pay at least 50% of the full price before I can begin working.꩜ If you change your mind and request a refund before the line art process has begun, you will receive a full refund.꩜ Please note that refund requests are will no longer be accepted once the line art process has begun.꩜ I will send you the final product as a PNG file via email.꩜ If you requested to pay 50% of the full price up front, I will only send the final product after the FULL payment has been received.꩜ Tips are always appreciated! :)
